I just finished my faculty task; make an essay about the culture of England. I have to surf around the internet and found a hell lot of interesting facts about England. But I'm not going to talk about England now. It's more about what I found in the middle of my surf on the internet world.
I saw this picture and a thought popped out in my head. It's not about the dress, really. Though I personally think that it's classic and sweet. No, what tickled me was the tradition they had along with the dress. Old British people and most of people in early 70s and 80s has a kind of moral that I admire a lot. If you like to read books such as Jane Eyre, Charles Dicken's and even Johanna Lindsey's book then you'll notice about the moral. They had a strict rules about what part of women bodies that could or shouldn't appear in front of men who weren't their husbands. The women and the girls were forbid to be in one room with any men without any companion. They were polite to each other, had a great loyalty, moral and manner. They grew to be discipline and to protect their pride no matter male or female.
From those wonderful facts about traditional people I started to think about nowadays moral. Our moral are decreasing day by day. I even started to think that clothes are one of the factors that involved in our moral decreasing. It was simple, actually; people started to show their body parts, leave their tradition behind and drowned in the modern world. I'm not blaming the technology for our moral decreasing. It's more about how people deal with it and adapt with the technology.
So, these are questions that stuck in my mind:
1. Who introduce the 'minimal clothes' to the women? And for what reason?
2. Who started the free sex habit and who stupid enough to let it contaminate their generation?
3. Who should be responsible for out moral decreasing?
After all, it was live and it should go on no matter what. But still, honestly, I'm longing for those beautiful days where women were highly respected and men knew how to protect their honor.
